Hawaii Energy Conservation Award
Hawaii Energy is proud to present the first-ever Hawaii Energy Conservation Award at the 20th Annual Hawaii Conservation Conference’s Public Event themed “Protecting Our Hawai‘i as One” on August 1. The Award presented by Hawaii Energy will mark the first time the Hawaii Conservation Alliance will honor the role of energy conservation in the comprehensive effort to protect Hawaii’s environment.
The Award will honor an individual or organization whose outstanding leadership and innovation in the area of energy conservation has made a positive impact on the health and well-being of our state. Energy conservation does more than save money and natural resources. By reducing the need for imported oil, energy conservation reduces the impact on Hawaii’s fragile environment and increases the sustainability of our state economy.

About the Conference
The 20th Annual Hawaii Conservation Conference is an event brought to the community by the Hawaii Conservation Alliance, a collaborative coalition of 19 government, education and non-profit leaders responsible for managing the biodiversity of Hawaii’s lands and waters. The conference is the largest gathering of people actively involved in the protection and management of Hawaii’s natural environment.
