Tips on Choosing a Solar Water Heating Contractor

Choosing a contractor can be a difficult process, but it is a key step in making your home more energy-efficient. Here are a few tips to select the right contractor for you:

  1. Obtain at least three (3) quotes.
  2. Do research. For example, check online resources to see how your contractor is rated.
  3. Visually inspect at least one previously installed system by that contractor. You can then decide if the contractor’s work meets your expectations.
  4. Request references from the contractor. Ask for contact information of previous customers so that you can call to get their opinions.
