Hawaii Energy is excited to bring you the workshops of The National Energy Education Development (NEED) Project to Hawaii, Honolulu and Maui counties. At this upcoming workshop, classroom teachers (K-12) will have a unique opportunity to learn about energy and energy efficiency in a fun and exciting way. In addition, teachers will find out more about Hawaii’s energy situation, fuel sources, electricity rates & usage, and how Hawaii ranks among the nation.
At this workshop, educators will be provided with:
- A hands-on classroom kit valued over $300
- Choose from varying levels of a School Energy Management kit, teaching about energy consumption and conservation.
- A substitute reimbursement - Hawaii Energy will reimburse for substitute teachers so you may attend the full-day workshop.
