Hawai‘i Energy Program Updates In Response To COVID-19

 

Following guidance from the CDC and local health officials, Hawai‘i Energy will be suspending the following Residential services until further notice out of caution for the well-being of our customers and employees:

  • Energy Smart 4 Homes installations
  • On-site inspections of solar water heating and air conditioning system installations
  • “Energy Unplugged” and “Sharing The Aloha” community workshops

Appliance haul-away and recycling will go on as scheduled (until otherwise notified), as well as our appliance deliveries on Moloka‘i, thanks to our partner Sustainable Moloka‘i. Understanding that this is an uncertain time for everyone involved, we will continue to monitor the ongoing COVID-19 situation and communicate any further changes to you as soon as we can. We appreciate your understanding.
