RAPID RESPONSE ENERGY PLAN

for Hawai‘i Island

The Hawai‘i Public Utilities Commission has asked Hawai‘i Energy to develop a series of rapid response actions to address the significant loss of renewable energy generation on Hawai‘i island due to the recent shutdown of the Puna Geothermal Venture (PGV) power plant. Hawai‘i Energy is committed to helping Big Island businesses and residents learn about and implement everyday, smart energy actions that will alleviate rising energy costs, decrease our reliance on fossil fuels, and keep us on target toward our state's 100% clean energy goal.

Details of the plan and available rebates are provided below. We encourage you to visit this page regularly to receive the most up-to-date information.
